Who is the Anti-Christ?

By Michael W. Gardner The word “Anti-Christ” or “Antichrist” is only mentioned four times in the Bible (Modern King James Version). They are in two books, First and Second John.
Read these verses in the context where they exist and you will understand that the anti-Christ is anyone or group that pretend to be part of Christ’s Church but really is not. The Antichrist will claim to be a Christian but will not worship like God wants to be worshiped because they selfishly want to do it their way. The antichrist will read 1 Peter 3:21 and then turn around and say you don’t have to be baptized. The Antichrist will read the book of Revelation and create a thousand years of tribulation where it does not exist. The Antichrist read about Elders and Deacons and they will then establish priesthoods and appoint super priests that claim the direct power of God where only their thirst for power exists. The Antichrist will read Romans 1:27-28 and then proclaim to the world that a practicing homosexual can be a Christian and even a preacher of God’s word. Titus 1:16 makes it clear that we can claim to be Christian but our works show that we deny him just like the antichrist. The Antichrist will claim to be Christian and speak with flowery language that tickles the ears of those that do not seek the truth but fall willing victims to doctrines of men. All of this will happen during the last dispensation and it is happening now. We are in the last dispensation of time now. There will not be another called the “Tribulation”. What you will not read in first and second John is that the Antichrist will be a Corporate Chief Executive who has nothing better to do than to write numbers on our foreheads. What you will read is what John says in 1 John 2:18 when he says we are in the last days now. The Antichrists will be in the last days, no one disputes that but there will be no “Tribulation”. Since this is the last time, that would make the “Tribulation” the time after the last time. If this is the last days then there can’t be another time called the “Tribulation”. So when the “Rapture” happens and the saved will meet Jesus in the sky, that will end the last days and the Earth and all that are left on it will melt with fervent heat. |
