WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE GOSPEL IS PREACHED?

2.  It will do what it is supposed to do. Isa. 55:8-11

3.  Before it is preached, it is paper and ink; power only after preached.

 

Discussion

1. DISCHARGES OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO PREACH IT.

Mk. 16:15; Ezek. 3:17-21; Acts 20:26-27

 

2. IT CONVICTS AND CALLS SINNERS.

Jn 16:8; 2 Th 2:14.  No other way.

 

3. PRODUCES THE CHURCH.

Acts 2

 

4. GIVES A CHOICE.

Mt 11:28-30; Sower Lk 8; Acts 28:23-24

 

5. DEMONSTRATES POWER OF GOD.

2 Cor. 4:3-6

 

6. REVEALS THE MYSTERY OF GOD.

Eph. 3:3-6

 

Conclusion

1. What will you do with the gospel?

2. You can never be the same after hearing: Jesus loved, lived, taught, died, raised, is our       mediator and is coming again.

3. You can never be honestly mistaken again, for you will cease to be honest or you will cease to       be mistaken!

4. What will you do with Jesus?
